5/111 Common House 9/3/60 II

House. C17, restored in C20. Timber framed on rendered plinth with cement render infill and cladding to ground floor, tile hung above with central bands of fishscale pattern and diamond tiles. Plain tiled roofs, hipped-to left. T-shaped plan with cross wing to right. Two storeys with jettied gable to right, render infilled with decorative frame. Large corbelled multiple stack to left of centre. Three diamond-pane leaded casement windows to first floor. Three windows to ground floor. Glazed door to right of centre in pentice hood porch. 'Tudor' style arched surround and ribbed outer door. Square bay to ground floor left. Right hand return front:- close studding with rendered infill, some with diagonal patterning.
