2. The C18 stables and coachhouses contemporary with the house lie further to the East. They form a complete courtyard, the East and West sides being symmetrical. They are of cobbles with red brick dressings and slate roofs. The main blocks (the East and West sides) have 2 storeys consisting of the stables with rooms over. They have brick porches in the centre with pediments over the round-headed arches beneath. The North and South sides are of 1 storey only and comprise the coachhouses. The South side has a parapet to the roof in the centre. The North side, which is detached, was probably added slightly later.
