GV II

Farm buildings. C18, part dated 1731, altered C20. Coursed squared ironstone, corrugated iron roofs. L-plan. Range facing yard comprises 3-bay barn with central opposed cart entrances, that to rear blocked, flanked by ventilation slits. 3 rows of pigeon roostings below eaves to left of entrance. Quoins and stone-coped gable with kneelers to left end only. Tie and collar beam trusses. Slightly lower building to right, of one bay, one storey and loft. Loft door facing Bedford Road has wood lintel, datestone above inscribed M/IE/1731; quoins and moulded stone eaves. Lower 2-bay range bounding Bedford Road has steep-pitched roof and ventilation slit facing road; probably stable or small barn. Tie and collar beam trusses to roofs.
