A row of simple late C18 cottages with C19 and C20 shop fronts, except for No 13 which
retains the original ground floor. Reddish-brown brick of local manufacture.
Dentilled eaves. First floor band to No 13. Pantile roofs, continuous from No 9-No
15. 2 storeys, although No 7 would appear to have had 3 storeys judging by the blank
panels above the 1st floor windows. It may also have had 3 bays, whereas the others
were originally 2 bays each. No 13 has a panelled door with a sash window with glazing
bars to the right and a later window to the left. No 15 has a late C19 double-fronted
shop with arch headed lights to the upper part of the windows. 1st floor: Nos 9-11
now have 6 windows. Sash windows throughout with late glazing except for the left
window of No 13 which has glazing bars.
