LEIGH C.P. DAWES GREEN TQ 24NW 6/139 The Seven Stars Public House II
Public house. C17, remodelled and extended in C19. C19 red brick on left hand return front, whitewashed brick ground floor and tile hung above. Brick and weatherboard to right hand extension and plain tiled roofs. Two storeys with stack to right of centre. Two horizontally sliding sashes to first floor centre and left, metal framed casement window to right. Three, 3-light windows on the ground floor. Half-glazed doors to left and right of centre. Pentice extension to left end. Single storey extension to right with three, top-hung C20 windows and door to right. C20 extensions to rear. Interior:- Deep brick fireplace. Ceiling frame exposed. C17 wall text preserved.
