OCKLEY C.P. STANE STREET TQ 14SW The Green 7/238 Nos 21 and 22 11/11/66 Tanyard Cottages GV II
Cottage pair. Late C16/Early C17 with C19 extension to right. Timber framed, exposed to centre and left with red brick infill, red brick extensions to right. Plain tiled roofs, stepping down and half-hipped over left end. Two storeys, cottage to left lower, with massive multiple stack left of centre at junction of two, further stacks to rear left and right. Two framed bays to right of centre with tension braces on the first floor; three diamond-pane windows across the first floor, two 3-light windows below. Door to right of centre under patterned-tile pentice hood on braces. Pentice to right end with small gabled hood, with cusped bargeboards, over further door. Three-bay cottage to left with two windows on the first floor, two windows below. Door to left of centre under similar pentice porch hood; pentice extension to left end with further door under cusped gabled hood on braces.
