House, now hotel. C17. Altered C18 and C19. Uncoursed limestone rubble;
slate roof with coped left gable; brick stacks. 2 storeys and cellar. 3
bays. Carriage entrance in right bay with wood lintel. In left bay are two
C17 cellar windows of 2 lights with stone mullions and square hoods (blocked).
Other windows have early C19 straight stone heads with keystones and wooden
casements of 3 lights with transoms. Late C18 extension to right, 2 storeys,
2 bays of uncoursed limestone rubble with slate roof and 3-light iron casement
windows. One bay, 2 storey extension to left in squared coursed limestone with
C20 windows and doorway. Interior: remodelled c.1970.
