ARDINGLY LINDFIELD ROAD 1. 5405 Hillhouse Farmhouse TQ 32 NW 11/428 28.10.57 II

2. C16 timber-framed house, refaced in the C18 with red brick on ground floor and tile- hanging above. At the east and west ends are projecting weather-boarded gables with moulded bargeboards. Mainly Horsham slab roof, but partly replaced with tiles. Casement windows. The chief feature of the house is a chimney breast on the south side of red brick on a stone base with a diaper pattern of grey headers. Two storeys. Three windows.
