1/117 Farm building immediately north of Haigh Hall farmhouse
GV II
Former stable range, now farm building. Early to mid C18. Thinly coursed rubble with quoins. Corrugated asbestos roof. Two storeys, five internal bays. Segmental-headed, quoined cart entrance to left. Three quoined stable doors to right with deep lintels (the centre door part-blocked). Two later windows. Four 2-light double-chamfered windows to first floor (mullions removed) and one later window. Hipped roof. Rear: Double-chamfered windows at ground-floor level of 3, 2 & 2 lights. Right gable has a later first floor doorway up stone steps.
Interior: Brick-lined. Four fish-bone king-post roof trusses with further small struts at angles of truss. One has inscribed tie-beam: "JH 1754".
