Farmhouse, now inn. Late C16-early C17, and C20. Rendered sarsen with forward wing part timber framed. Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, raised in brick to 2 storeys. Three bays. Lobby entry plan with a forward wing of 2 bays added to left original service bay. Extensive C20 rear wing. Entrance in thatched glazed porch in original door position. Two and 3-light timber windows. Forward wing also 2 storeys, the upper floor now only framed, 2 panels high with corner braces and two blocked windows. Gable canted bay on ground floor. Roof half hipped. Central and gable stacks have brick flues. Interior: Much altered. Central hall bay has double ovolo moulded spine beam with bar stops. Inner room, a simpler chamfered beam.
