1. BALLS POND ROAD N1 5013 (South Side) ------------------ TQ 3384 24/59 Nos 121 to 151 (odd) 4.12.74 No 153 II GV Nos 155 and 157
2. Early C19 symmetrical composition with west end now lost. Each house 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Pediments at east end and in centre, the latter inscribed: BRUNSWICK PLACE 1812. Stock brick with parapet coping becoming cornice band below pediments. Gauged flat brick arches to 2nd floor sash windows with glazing bars, round arches to st floor windows, some sashes and some casements with margin lights and patterned heads, mostly leading to ornamental cast iron balconies (except Nos 121-129, no balconies). Most ground floors stuccoed. Round arched ground floor windows. 6-panel doors (some altered) with fluted quadrant pilasters and fanlights, some patterned. No 55 has had windows seriously altered. No 43 and 145 have a double central prostyle porch with paired Doric columns. Some wrought iron area railings.
Nos 121 to 157 (odd) form a group.
