House, formerly farmhouse. Building of 3 building phases, north range appears C16, main part to south is dated 1671 with the initials B W M on the external chimneystack and east range could be a C17 service wing. 1671 range is timberframed with brick infill to the rear elevation and painted brick to the grond floor and tile hung to the first floor on the front elevation. Tiled roof and massive external stack to the right hand side. Two storeys and attics; 2 windows. One hipped dormer and C20 casement windows. doorcase with flat hood. Rear elevation has gabled stair turret, pedimented doorcase, 2 csements and a blocked original mullioned window. North range is timberframed with box frame with midrail and diagonal braces exposed on the first floor with red brick infill and painted brick ground floor. Steeply pitched half-hipped tiled roof with tall channelled brick chimneystack. Casement windows. East wing has ground floor of red brick with some black brick headers and weatherboarded first floor. Steeply pitched roof mainly of Horsham stone slabs, apart from lean-to which is tiled. First floor has some early C19 metal-framed casements with pintle hinges.
