II
Mill and attached house and bridge. Early C18, with C19 and C20 alterations. Mill of rubble with red brick patching. Pantile roof. One and a half storeys, 2 bays. Doorway with plank door, to the right is a single segmental arched window opening. Above, is a doorway with plank door dropping below the lintel of the ground floor doorway. To the right is a single glazing bar sash. To the right is a red brick and pantile lean-to containing the remains of a wood and iron water wheel. To the left is the house, refronted late C19, being of red brick apart from the rubble left gable wall. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central C20 red brick and pantile gabled porch with panelled door. Either side are single glazing bar sashes with 2 similar sashes above, all with rendered wedge lintels. In front of the mill is the concrete and ashlar foot bridge with single red brick arch to the rear. Interior contains a single stone nut.
