2. C16 and later. U-shaped building with wings extending East, and with front and most of ground floor rebuilt in brick in C18. 2 storey timber framed and plastered, roofs tiled and slated. Front is painted, moulded brick cornice, 6-window range, flush frame sash with (modern) glazing bars. Ground floor has 2 doorways with enriched wood cases. The timber framing is exposed in the upper storeys of the wings extending East. NMR photos.
Nos 72 to 88 (even) and the King's Head Inn form a group.
