GV II
Gate piers and gates. Early C20. Plain ashlar gate piers with urn finials, good wrought-iron double gates with floral motifs and elaborate cresting. Probably placed here by Sir George Hastings who bought The Courts c1900. (Country Life, 1st January 1943)
