2/196 Queenfield Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17. Rubblestone, stone slate roof with ashlar stacks. T plan. Two storeys and attic, 2-window. Door inside of mid C19 wing projecting from front of C17 house, with 12-pane sash to right and two 12-pane sashes to first floor. Same sashes to gable end. Left of wing is 3-light chamfered mullioned window with 3-light ovolo-mullioned window to first floor. To right return of wing is attached lean-to extension with re-used 2-light ovolo- mullioned windows and pantiled roof. Rear left return of C17 range has two blocked single light ovolo moulded window cases to first floor and one to attic has 3-light, 4-light with king mullion, and 3-light ovolo.mullioned windows with drip moulds to ground floor. Above are same, without drip moulds. Attic gable has one 2-light ovolo mullioned window. Interior altered and contains no original fireplaces.
