GV II

House, now shop and offices. c1830. Brick, part painted, with ashlar dressings; tile roof with brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range, centre breaking forward. Top cornice. Entrance has doorcase with consoled cornice, overlight with decorative glazing bars to C20 door. Two early C20 shop fronts have recessed entrances, that to left has side entrance with overlight to left end and 2-light glazing; that to right has later C20 alterations. Upper windows have sills, those to 1st floors have friezes and consoled cornices over 12-pane sashes, those to 2nd floor have rubbed brick flat arches over 6-pane sashes. Rear wing has large brick stack.
