Corner shop. c1840. Ham Hill stone ashlar with hipped, crested slate roof. L-shape plan. 3 storeys; 6-window range. 2 pilasters with incised key-pattern to the tops, one to the far right and one to left of the Silver Street facade, support a continuous moulded cornice below a low parapet wall. All windows have keystones. The range to the left, in Ditton Street, has 3 late C19 two/two-pane sashes to the first floor, and 6/6-pane to the second. Other windows are 8/8-pane sashes; 2 on each floor to the right, a similar curved one on the corner with a blind window above and the late C19 shop front below. The entrance to this is in Silver Street: it has set-back double half-glazed doors with overlight, flanked by plate-glass windows with colonnettes with ornamented tops, a curved one on the corner, and a single one in Ditton Street. The continuous fascia has cast-iron cresting; below it, to the far right, is a Regency-style 6-panel door with an overlight of a circle flanked by diamonds. Between the right and the inside-right windows of the first floor hangs a large horizontal key on brackets. INTERIOR: ground-floor is totally changed.
