House, now house and shop. Early C19. Ham Hill stone ashlar, slate roof with stepped stone coping and stone stack to left gable end. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Windows to the right and first-floor left are wide early C19 8/8-pane sashes; steps up to Tuscan doorcase with open pediment which surrounds a semicircular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars. The door is early C19 with 6 panels, 3 long ones to the top and 3 short ones to the base. Above this is a round-arch sash window of 4/8 panes with margin panes and intersecting glazing bars to the top. There is a moulded cornice at gutter-level and a platband between the floors. The shop to left was probably inserted later in the C19; it is set forward between the door and the left wall, which also has been brought forward on the ground floor and sweeps up to the house; shop door to left. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: To right of the door are spearheaded railings on a platform at doorstep level enclosing a small forecourt. The property now includes part of the building attached to the left, No.35 (qv).
