EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range to main block to the left (west) and one-window range to right extension. All windows are C20 one/one-pane sashes, those to ground floor with louvred shutters, probably c1800 sliding ones, to left and a C20 one to the right; that has moulded architraves and keystones to both windows and raised Ham Hill stone rusticated quoins (similar details to the left have been removed). The house, which has a moulded eaves cornice, is set well back and high, with steps to a Tuscan-style doorcase with dentilled open pediment and reeded engaged columns; 6-panel door with 4 raised-and-fielded panels and added mouldings to lower ones, under a decorative semicircular fanlight. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached to the right rear corner, a high limestone rubble wall, with an archway close to the house, encloses a small garden with stone gate piers to far left of the front which have swept caps and balls. Railings to the front are mid C19 square-section loops alternating with spearheads, set on a rendered Ham Hill stone plinth. Double gates opposite door have long loops through a concavely-curved upper rail, spears through a lower one, and a row of circles and diamonds to the base. The gate catch is leaf-shaped.
