Two shops. Early to mid C18 with large C20 wing. Stucco; internally timber-framed cross walls flanking central bay at first floor; coped tile roof with brick end stacks. 2 storeys with attic; 5-window range. Top cornice. Entrance to No.37 and small-paned bow window to left end have panelled pilasters, frieze and cornice, glazed door; No.38 has C20 double-fronted shopfront. 1st floor has 12-pane sashes, one blind window over entrance to No.38; 3 gabled dormers with casements. INTERIOR: stop-chamfered beam and exposed timber-framing to No.37.
