GV II

Semi-detached houses. c.1850. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof of slate. Three storeys above basement; the principal front of each house two bays wide with entrance wing set back to side. Basement stuccoed and scored as ashlar; stucco band between basement and ground floor. Ground- and first-floor windows flat-arched with moulded architraves only to ground floor and cornice on consoles additionally to first floor. Brick string course above first floor, boxed eaves. One full dormer to each house with segmental arched window under broken pediment. Party wall projects above roof carrying central stack. Single-storey entrance wings set back; steps up to flat-arched entrance flanked by pilasters with entablature and blocking course, panelled door and overlight.
