Terraced houses incorporating a shop. c.1840. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each except for no 190 which has three. Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor scored as ashlar. Steps up to segmental-arched entrance, with Doric pilasters, cornice, panelled doors of original design and original glazed fanlight to nos 180-88. Sill band to first-floor windows which are flat-arched with stucco architraves, cornices on consoles and balconies with cast-iron railings. Sill band to second floor, architraves to flat-arched windows. Dentil cornice formed of projecting bricks; parapet. No 190 has C19 shop-front to ground floor with central entrance, and a side entrance at the end of the terrace with relics of the original doorcase. The upper storeys reproduce the elements of the rest of the terrace, but the whole front has been rendered with plaster and the balconies have gone.
