24 terraced houses. c. 1836-1837. Yellow and multi-coloured stock brick set in Flemish bond with ground-floors of stucco lined as ashlar and stucco dressings; Welsh-slate gabled roofs, nos. 8 and 9 with tile roofs and no. 27 with artificial slate roof, all with party-wall brick stacks. Side-hall entrance plan. Neo-classical style. Symmetrical terrace with slightly projecting central bay (nos. 16-24) of 2 storeys, basement and no. 10 with attic, two windows each. Low steps rise to doorway (nos. 12-20, 22-25, and 27-31 with original panelled doors) with fluted quarter columns, carrying corniced-head and (nos. 8-24) with curved and radial fanlight, (nos. 25-27) Gothic style fanlight and (nos. 28-31) Neo-classical style patterned fanlight. Round-arched ground-floor 8/8 sashes with curved glazing bars in the Gothic style. Stucco sill band and gauged brick flat arches to upper full-length 6/6 sashes with iron balconies. Parapet with stone coping; nos. 16-18 with stucco freize, cornice and parapet, no. 19 with stucco freize and parapet. No. 10 with roof dormer. Attached cast-iron area railings with urn finials.
