Detached house. Mid-to-late C19. Probably by George Truefitt. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond with dressings of red brick and stone or stucco. Three storeys, four-window range. Flat-arched entrance set far back in a two-storey entrance bay to the left: the front of the bay projecting slightly and carried on two engaged columns with foliage capitals and cambered head of gauged red brick; round-arched window above with head of gauged red brick, and courses of red brick in the wall below; stepped gable with stone ball finial echoing that of the main front: this has a two-storey bay to the front with windows set in groups of three, flat-arched with heads of gauged red brick and foliage capitals to front face only of the dividing piers; courses of red brick; dentil brickwork to coped parapet with scrolled decorative ironwork; second-floor windows flat-arched and set back under a round arch of red and yellow gauged brick, the tympanum filled with gauged red herringbone brickwork; crow-stepped gable of two stages, the first of five steps, the second of seven, with ball finials at the beginning of each stage and an apparently mis-shapen finial at the apex; side stack.
