Terraced houses. 1825-8. Stucco and yellow brick set in Flemish bond, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Ground floor decorated with banded rustication; elliptical-arched entrance slightly set back under an elliptical arch of smooth stucco; on nos 48-80 the doors are framed by panelled pilasters with fluted consoles supporting cornice; on nos 82-88, fluted quarter-columns as pilasters; no 90 has fluted pilasters and consoles; no 92 has a fluted simplified Doric column; no 94-102 have fluted quarter-columns, no 104 plain pilasters; no 106-108 panelled pilasters with fluted consoles. Ground-floor window also elliptical-arched and set back under an ellipitical arch of smooth stucco; stucco terminates at broad sill band; first- and second-floor windows flat-arched with heads of gauged brick, each of the first-floor windows set under a round arch of gauged brick, the arches linked by a moulded springing band; cast-iron balconies to first-floor windows; parapet; stacks to party wall. Features of individual houses are: nos 44-46 have smooth stucco to ground floor and round-arched entrances with fanlights; no 46 lacks first-floor arcading and second-floor windows are rebuilt; no 48-50 have panelled doors of original design, decorative glazing to fanlights, no arcading to first floor and second floor rebuilt; no 56 has decorative glazing to fanlight; no 58 has panelled door of original design, sashes of original design with intersecting tracery to ground floor; nos 60-62 have panelled doors of original design, decorative glazing to fanlights; no 78 has decorative glazing to fanlight; no 84 has panelled door of original design ; no 92 is set forward slightly, with three windows, double-fronted, decorative glazing to fanlight, elliptical-arched windows to either side on ground floor, upper windows rebuilt and now without aracading; nos 94-100 have decorative glazing to fanlight; nos 98 and 102 have panelled doors of original design ; nos 104-108 have decorative glazing to fanlight; no 110 has a narrow elliptical-arched entrance with panelled door of original design; no 112 has a narrow segmental-arched entrance; no 114 had ground floor altered to shop in C19 but now reinstated to match rest of terrace.
