Row of 13 terraced houses. c.1825-1828. Multi-coloured stock bricks laid in Flemish bond with simple stucco dressings; no. 118 with banded stucco finish. Roofs obscured by parapet, brick party-wall stacks. Three storeys; 2 windows each. Side-hall entrance plan with staircase; no. 118 with house entrance to Cloudsley Square facade. Low steps rise to entrance in left bay: doorway with 1/4 column jambs (no. 118 without columns & no. 124 with vertical panels in lieu of columns) carrying corniced-head, panelled door (nos. 118, 136, 138, 140 & 142 C20) and plain fanlight (nos. 126 & 130 patterned). Ground-floor gauged-brick round arches to 1/1 sashes (no. 122 2/2 sashes; no. 124 6/6 sashes; no. 128 4/3 sashes with curved & radial glazing bars; nos. 140-142 1/2 sashes). Upper floors with gauged-brick flat arches (except no. 118 which has been altered &/or rebuilt) to assortment of sashes (nos. 118-122 & 128-138 & 142 2/2; no. 124 1st floor 9/9 & 2nd floor 6/6; no.126 1st floor 2/2 & 2nd 1/1; no. 140 1st floor 2/2 & 2nd floor 6/6). 1st floor with stucco sill band to full-length sashes set in arched recesses linked by stucco impost bands; individual cast-iron balconies with spiderweb pattern to railings. Plain brick parapet with stone coping.
