GV II
Terraced house. c.1727, the top storey added in the early C19. Brick rendered with stucco scored as ashlar, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, three-window range. Round-arched entrance with moulded architrave, cornice on consoles, fanlight with decorative glazing and panelled door. All windows flat-arched with sash boxes almost flush with wall, moulded cornice, stacks on party walls. Rainwater head with inscription '1768 XDA'. The photographer Angus McBean lived and worked in the basement. (Historians' file, English Heritage London Division).
