8 terraced houses, no. 2 with shop. c.1820s-1830s; corner shopfront late C19. Yellow and brown stock bricks set in Flemish bond with banded stucco ground-floor (nos. 4-16, plain stucco to no. 8) and plain stucco to upper floors (nos. 8-10); no. 6 with red and blue gauged brick flat arches and string courses to upper floors; roofs obscured by parapet; brick party-wall stacks. Side-hall entrance plan with staircase. Three storeys with basement; 2 windows each (no. 2 triangular-shaped, 2:1:1 around returning corner). Low steps rise to elliptical arched entrance to right bay. No. 2: house door to left bay and covered sash to right bay in Copenhagen Street; recessed shop entrance to curved corner flanked by late C19 shop windows with altered C20 glazing to returns in Copenhagen and Cloudesley Roads; pilasters support curved overhanging fascia, end consoles and projecting cornice. Other doorways with pilaster (nos. 2-10) and fluted 1/4 column (nos. 12-16) jambs carrying corniced-head, panelled door (nos. 4, 6, 8, & 10 C20), and plain fanlight (no. 10 curved & radial glazing bars; nos. 14 & 16 patterned). Ground-floor segmental-arched 6/6 sashes (no. 2 covered by C20 board), nos. 6, 8 & 16 with margin lights; gauged brick flat arches to upper floors. 1st floor blind (no. 2 over shop entrance), 6/6 (nos. 2-10 & 16) & 2/2 (12-14) full-length sashes (except no. 4 which are short) with stucco sill band and individual iron balconies to nos. 8-12 (other balconies missing) with Vitruvian scroll and palmette or Gothic style pattern to iron railings. 2nd floor 6/6 (no. 2 left to Copenhagen Street; nos. 4-8 & 16) 2/2 (nos. 2 right & corner to Copenhagen Street & 12), C20 (nos. 8 & 14) sashes. Plain parapet with stone coping.
