Detached house. 1875-6. Dressed Kentish ragstone with Bath stone dressings and roof of Welsh slate. Three storeys over basement, irregular fenestration. The front to Highbury Grove reads as two wings, one of three storeys, the other of two and set a little back, both under hipped roofs, and there is another, gabled wing to the west. Shallow gabled porch to Highbury Grove in the right-hand wing with pointed-arched entrance deeply recessed with panelled door and overlight; single-storey bay window to left-hand wing with flat-arched window of four lights with chamfered mullions and transoms; upper windows for the most part have mullions with chamfer stops; full dormer to right-hand wing; west wing entirely blank to north with coped gable and corniced stack to apex.
