GV II
Single house, now part of a terrace. Early to mid-C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Roughcast, roof of slates now largely Turnerised. Three storeys over basement, three-window range, double-fronted. Entrance in central, two-storey porch: flat-arched chamfered entrance to porch, moulded architrave to flat-arched doorcase; storey band to porch with flat-arched, mullioned and transomed window above under hoodmould; modillion cornice. Ground-floor windows flat-arched with flush frames and waterleaf and beaded ornament to outer mouldings; 6/6 sashes; canted oriels above with modillion cornice and flat-arched windows with 6/6 sashes of original design;small casement windows with cornices in twin gables; decorative bargeboards to gables. Late C19 area railings with panels of scrolling ornament. INTERIOR: not inspected but 1972 description refers to 'interesting interior'.
