Includes: No.34A CLOUDESLEY PLACE. Terrace of 7 houses. c.1821-1824. Yellow stock bricks set in Flemish bond; roofs obscured by parapet, brick party-wall stacks. Side-hall entrance plan with staircase. Three storeys with basement; 2 windows each, no. 34A Cloudesley Place/ 95B Liverpool Road with additional entrance bay and nos. 101-105 in recess. Gauged-brick round-arched ground-floor openings. Steps rise to entrance to left bay (no. 95B with side entrance to 34A Cloudesley Place): doorway with fluted 1/4 column jambs carrying corniced-head, original 6-panelled door, and patterned fanlight (no. 95B with altered corniced-head and fanlight). Ground-floor with 1/1 (nos. 34A, 99, 101, 103, 105) and 3/3 (95B & 97)sashes; gauged brick flat-arches to upper floors. 1st floor with stucco sill band to full-length 1/1 (no. 34A), 2/2 ( 99-105), 3/3 (no. 95B), and 6/6 (no. 97) sashes set in arched recesses linked by stucco impost bands; coupled iron-bracketed balconies. 2nd floor 2/2 sashes (no. 95B 3/3 sashes). Plain brick parapets with stone coping; nos. 97-99 with plain stucco raised parapet above coping. Attached cast-iron railings to no. 97; porch railings to nos. 103 & 105.
