Terraced houses. Early C19. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof of slate. Two storeys over basement, with dormers in attic, no 41 with three windows, no 42 with 2 in Lloyd Baker Street, and three in Granville Street where it is double-fronted. No 41 has flat-arched entrance set back under porch with antae; one window over entrance, the other bay has a window to each floor set back in a stucco panel, the ground-floor window flat-arched and flanked with pilasters, the first- floor window segmental-arched, and the whole panel set back under a round arch with stucco impost blocks and archivolt; stucco cornice; blocking course; dormer in attic; side stack. In Granville Street, no 42 has steps up to flat-arched entrance set back twice in stucco architraves, the outer architrave consisting of Doric pilasters and entablature; all windows flat-arched, the frames set in plain stucco surrounds, with heads of gauged yellow brick, the central first-floor window blank; sashes of original design to all windows in Granville Street except that to left on ground floor; stucco cornice and blocking course; the right-hand return in Lloyd Baker Street echoes the forward bays of no 41 with the addition of pilasters to the ground-floor windows. Cast-iron railings to steps and area.
