GV II
Double fronted villa. In street leading into Lloyd Street from the north. c.1832. By John Booth, and his son, also John, Surveyors for the Lloyd Baker Estate; William Joseph Booth, architect. Gold stock bricks set in Flemish bond with stucco dressings, and stucco pediment; roof obscured by pediment but roof extension to right side, right end-wall brick stack. Restrained Greek Revival style. Centre-hall entrance plan. Two-storeys with basement; projecting pedimented 3-window range. Low steps rise to deeply recessed stucco entrance with antae supporting entablature. Architraved doorway with patterned rectangular overlight and panelled door with central roundel. Architraved 6/6 sashes throughout: 1st floor sashes with cornices. Plain stucco 1st floor storey band, stucco cornice, blocking course and stucco band beneath pediment. Rebuilding and patching-in to left and right-hand return walls and to upper floor. Attached cast-iron railings with acorn finials.
