Four terraced houses. On east side of slope of hill approaching Claremont Square from the SE. 1828-1829. By William Chadwell Mylne, Surveyor for the New River Estate. Yellow stock brick set in Flemish bond with banded stucco ground-floor and stucco dressings; roofs obscured, party-wall brick stacks. Side-hall entrance plan. Four storeys with basement; 2 windows each. Steps rise to elliptical-arched entrance: doorway with pilaster jambs carrying corniced-head, plain fanlight and panelled door. 6/6 sashes to ground-floor. Gauged-brick flat arches to upper floors sashes: 1st floor stucco sill band beneath full-length sashes set in arched brick recesses linked by stucco impost bands with individual cast-iron balconies mostly with Vitruvian scroll and anthemion pattern to railings. Some rebuilding to upper floors. Plain brick parapet with stone coping. Attached cast-iron railings with urn finials.
