Linked villas. 1839-41, the linking bays of late C19 or C20 date. Yellow stock bricks; Welsh-slate hipped roofs with projecting eaves and ridge tiles; nos 11 and 17 with brick end-wall stacks, nos 13 and 15 with centre brick stacks. Centre-hall entrance plan. Two storeys; three windows each, double-fronted, with one-bay links. Ground-floor gauged brick round-arched openings in arched recesses. Doorways to nos 11-15 have architraves with a cable moulding between two rectangular mouldings, and wreathed corner blocks, the wreaths lacking on no 15; no 17 has a moulded architrave, possibly replacement; cornice-heads, six-panelled doors to nos 11-15, four-panelled to no. 17, and finely patterned fanlights to nos 13-17. No. 13 with panel over doorway inscribed 'Hope Cottage'. 6/6 sashes with curved and radial glazing bars and margin lights. 1st floor with gauged brick flat arches to 6/6 sashes. Projecting cornice to eaves. Nos 13-15 with full-height reveal in lieu of link.
