GV II
Terraced houses. Early C19. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roofs obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement, ground floor and return to Sans Walk stuccoed, ground floor of no 26 scored as ashlar. Ground floor of nos 26-28 framed by wooden pilasters, fascia and cornice, as if for shops; these houses have flat-arched entrances with overlight, with decorative glazing to no 26 which also has a panelled door of original design. No 30 has a round-arched entrance with cornice, fanlight with decorative glazing and panelled door of original design; no 32 has round-arched entrance in Sans Walk with fanlight. Ground-floor windows to nos 26 and 28 broad, flat-arched, and with 8/8 sashes of original design to no 28; no 30 round-arched, no 32 flat-arched. All upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads. Parapet; stacks to party walls. Area railings with urn standards and spearhead finials.
