Pair of cottages. c1870, rebuilding an earlier stucture. Timber-framed with herringbone brick panel infill, and brick extensions, with plain tiled roofs. Timber-framed main range of 2 bays and one-and-a-half storeys, with doorways, one in a small porch carried on curved struts, each side of 2 casement windows. Upper windows are partly in the roof, with gabled dormers. Brick bay to left-hand side, incorporating some C18 brick work, though largely of the C19. Brick plinth below framing also probably C18, though the framing itself, and the panel infill, are probably C19. Inside, fireplace bressumer and ceiling beam also probably remaining from earlier building. Tall fluted axial stacks. Late C20 addition to right.
