Pair of cottages. Early C17, with alterations of the early C19. Timber-framed in square panels with some arched bracing and queen strut roof, with brick panel infill, and plain tiled roof with scalloped bands. One-and-a-half-storeyed, 3 bays, extended by one bay to right in C19. Outer doorways and 3 casement windows between, with 3 dormers over, with finials. Roughly arched timber lintel over left-hand doorway. To rear, West View Cottage has attached outbuildings, including a former bakehouse with stack, Sunnyside Cottage has attached lean-to. The C19 alterations bear the hall-mark of the Sutherland Estate.
