Public house (Greyhound Inn), converted to offices 1982.
Probably late C17 in origin. Plastered and colourwashed
timber-frame under a plain tile roof. 2 storeys on corner site
with half facade to Market Place, half to Tavern Street. At
corner is a late C20 glazed door set into recess with panelled
double-leaf outer doors. Market Place front with central
6-panelled door in simple doorcase and hood. One early C19
sash with 8/8 glazing bars right and left. First floor with 2
identical sashes immediately above. Tavern Street front with 2
6/6 sashes each floor, except for lower left which has 8/8
glazing bars. Third window to extreme right at ground floor.
Gabled roof with 2 stacks on rear roof slope. 2 gabled ranges
to rear. Fenestration all C20 casements, some top-hung.
