Town house. 1884. Red brick front; dry slate roof with central gabled roof dormer and modillion eaves cornice; brick stack on right. Double-depth plan. Queen Anne style. 2 storeys plus attic over basement; symmetrical 3-window front. Keyed segmental arches over original horned sashes with glazing bars (2-light casement to left of basement). Central pedimented doorway with consoles and 6-panel door with glazed upper panels. INTERIOR: where inspected retains staircase, joinery and original features. Subsidiary features: attached forecourt walls with granite copings and turned cast-iron stanchions united by 2 chains; also flanking bridge to doorway. Included for group value.
