Public house, now shop with accommodation. C18. Render on
probable rubble; slatehanging to left-hand gable and part of
rear wing; steep rag slate roof with gabled dormer on far
right (possibly part of No.37); one C17 crested clay ridge
tile, otherwise later plain ridge tiles, rear rubble lateral
stack and rubble stack over rear gable. Deep plan including
rear wing. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Mid C19
twelve-pane hornless sashes except for blind window on right.
Wide partly-blocked former carriage doorway on left with early
C20 V-jointed boarded door and C20 shop front with V-jointed
boards, plate-glass window on its left and doorway on its
right. C18 rear wing has formerly open verandah with mid C19
fenestration with small panes at rear of through passage.
INTERIOR: mid C19 stick-baluster staircase; panelled doors
boarded over; probable original roof structure not inspected.
