Town house. C17 or early C18, remodelled late C18 and early C19. Painted rubble to front; Elvan ashlar to rear with rusticated granite quoins and other dressings including triangular pediment with oculus over Venetian windows to ground and first floors; steep roofs, hipped wing: asbestos slate behind parapet at the front, otherwise grouted scantle slate; dressed granite stack on right with attached brick stack and gabled brick lateral stack to right of rear wing. L-shaped plan. 2-storey front; 3-window range. Early C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes to left and right; right of centre is early C19 two-storey bowed bay with moulded cornice and 30-pane window over 40-pane window (including sidelights); towards right a pilastered doorway, of similar or possibly C18 date, with moulded entablature and triangular pediment with dentilled cornice and flush-beaded 6-panel door, and similar reveals. Rear wing elevation has original or early C19 sashes to its Venetian windows except for the central light of 1st-floor window with later C19 Y-traceried sash. INTERIOR not inspected but said to have many good quality C18 features of interest.
