GV II

House. Late C18. Render on probable rubble; half-hipped slate roof; granite ashlar stack on left, rendered stack on right. Shallow-depth plan. 2 storeys over basement; symmetrical 3-window front. Late C19 or C20 six-pane horned sashes except for original hornless sash to basement on left. Central doorway with C20 gabled porch built on landing of double flight of granite winder steps with porch doorway on the right. INTERIOR not inspected. Subsidiary features: rubble forecourt walls with curved wall on left to low front wall with round-headed granite end piers and gate piers to central gateway. Tall wall adjoining left of house with doorway near house and Victorian letterbox built into the wall. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
