Town house with later shop. Mid C18. Red brick laid to Flemish bond; flat arches; rusticated granite quoins; steep asbestos slate roof with modillion eaves cornice (lower pitched roof on left) brick end stacks; cast-iron ogee gutter. L-shaped plan including rear wing at right-angles on right and mid C19 extension on left. 2 storeys; overall 7-window range: 2-window extension on left; original 5-window range on right, probably originally a symmetrical 5-window front. Original front has mid/late C19 two-pane hornless sashes (or possibly older sashes with glazing bars removed) and late C19 central pilastered and central oriel with horned sashes, moulded cornice and slate roof. Ground floor has nearly full-width late C20 double shop front. Wing on left has 2 mid C19 hornless sashes, with glazing bars to tops, within moulded architraves to rendered studwork of 1st floor. Granite ashlar to ground floor; C20 plate glass to window on left, original 6-panel door on right; mid-floor string. INTERIOR not inspected.
