House. Early C19 front to C18 core. Roughcast to stone rubble; Welsh slate roof with twin gables; central dressed stone ridge stack; dressed stone stack to left rear. Central staircase plan. Late Classical style. 2 storeys; 5-window range: 6/6 sashes to centre, recessed in porch bay; moulded and bracketed eaves and twin pediments to gables. 4-panel double doors and plain overlight, under ashlar portico with square pilasters; flanked by paired 2/2 sashes with shutters (Venetian to left). Left returned side: returned eaves detail; late C19 bay to ground floor. Wing to rear (original house): c1700, with C19 front; twin ashlar stacks to twin-span roof; 6/6 sash flanked by 8/8 sashes; lunette window to pedimented gable; late C19 bay with French windows, and 8/8 sash. Late C19 gable wing to left and rear: 6/6 sashes; pedimented gable with semicircular window; ashlar stack. INTERIOR: early C19 open-well staircase with stick balusters and swan-neck rail; Gothick glazed staircase sash. Ground floor left: marble fireplace and columns; cornice; 6-panel doors. Similar rooms and early C18 panelling to rear wing.
