Houses, now with surgery. C18 front to earlier core. Roughcast to right (No.8); stucco; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys and cellar; 4-window range: 6/6 sashes, C20 to left, and in broad moulded cases with old glass to right; wood lined and bracketed eaves, to right. No.8: steps to central 6-panel door, in panelled reveals, under moulded wood flat hood on consoles, and fluted and panelled pilasters; flanked by late C19 canted bays with plain sashes; moulded wood band. No.9: steps to C19 four-panel door with glazed light, and blocked swagged fanlight, under moulded wood open-pediment hood on consoles and panelled pilasters; to left, late C19 canted bays with plain sashes and moulded cornice to lead roof; passage to rear with plank double doors on massive posts; rusticated stucco pilasters; massive rubble axial stack. Right returned side: roughcast over rubble; wing to rear with rubble buttress stack; C19 mullion and transom window; C20 casement to gable. Left returned side: massive purlins to plastered gable. Passage to rear: rubble walls; exposed ceiling beams; moulded wood 3-light mullion window to right-hand wall, over shuttered cellar opening.
