House. C16 fragment of larger building, altered 1966. Timber-framed core, now mainly brick. Roofs of pantiles and plaintiles. East front comprises a 2-storey range to north: 6-panelled door, 4-light C20 window to right below a 4-light C20 casement. 3-light casement over door. Gabled roof. C16 gable projects to south in 3 storeys: one 3-light cross casement to each of lower 2 storeys, and a 3-light C16 chamfered brick attic window above. Gabled roof. South return of this cross wing with a large stepped external stack gabled back to main roof. Three C20 windows and a door. An offset gabled 2 storey range runs east from this, the brickwork displaying increasing antiquity towards C16 east end. Front in 3 bays: central door; 3-light casements either side to each floor. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stack to east. West gable illuminated through a lower 6-light chamfered brick mullioned window and a similar 5-light attic window. Between them is a C20 casement. Parallel range to north C20. INTERIOR. Ocassional jowled studs of timber-frame survive. C20 staircase re-uses balusters. Occasional chamfered bridging beams.
