House and attached garden wall. c1830. Stucco; hipped slate roof with 2 brick cross-axial stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Wide modillioned eaves. Elliptical-headed entrance to left of centre has porch with Doric columns and Ionic entablature, fanlight with radial glazing bars over paired 3-panel doors. Windows have 12-pane sashes, but 1st floor right end window has 4-pane sash. Right return garden front: symmetrical 3-window range; entrance has porch with elliptical arches on Doric columns and top cornice, elliptical shell fan over paired half-glazed doors; windows have varied sashes and one top-hung casement. Wall extends approx. 33.5m to right; brick with ashlar plinth and chamfered coping. Formerly part of the St Mary's R.C. Home.
