Shops and dwellings. Early C19. Stucco; Welsh slate roof. EXTERIOR: late C19 shop front: central recess with glazed door and display cabinets, flanked by windows with moulded and enriched glazing-bars; panelled soffits; moulded stall-boards and fascia-board; pilasters and fluted consoles; awning hood with cast-iron guard; smaller unit to right. Right returned side: slate hung to rear. INTERIOR: Nos.15 & 16: C19 winder stair with turned newels, stick balusters and swan neck rail (including cellar). 2nd floor: two 4-panel doors; 2-panel door. 1st floor: 4-panel door; 6-panel doors; architraves to doors and windows; picture rail. Ground floor: fittings and display cases matching shop front. Cellar: brick-lined. No.18: winder stair. 2nd floor: massive exposed purlins; mutilated late C17 timber-framing. 1st floor: corner stack with C19 fireplace; architraves to windows; chamfered ceiling beam; exposed studs. Cellar: some masonry lining; brick partition wall.
